It’s not every day a client project lands on the cover of a magazine, so when we spotted Barbara Sumner’s 1950s-inspired Reverie project on the cover of Palm Springs Life, we got a little excited.

For this Indian Canyons home, Barbara embraced a vibrant midcentury modern aesthetic, channeling the playful, colorful spirit of 1950s Palm Springs while seamlessly updating the space with modern functionality.

That’s where Chown came in. We worked alongside the designer to bring in faucets, sinks, bathtubs, toilets, shower systems, lighting, and more; each one carefully chosen to stay true to the aesthetic while delivering on performance.
