What an amazing four days! We hosted a group of eager cross stitchers over four days (two 2-day identical finishing classes) — ‘30 Acorns: A Celebration in Stitches.’

Cathy Habermann of ‘Hands on Design’ guided us through her finishing tutorial for these lovely pattern pieces that we had pre stitched. Mr. HOD was on site too!

Not only is she a great designer, she has been a wonderful teacher! Participants were very happy stitchers and delighted in being able to finish their own pieces!

While there was not a usual ‘Saturday Stitch’ day… a few showed up and enjoyed the cooler weather out on our front sidewalk.

Do you have some small, same size, finished cross stitch pieces!

But, you don’t want to have to buy multiple frames for each piece? Or are you running out of places in your home to display them individually?

No worries—Turn them into a 3-D Cube!

An expert finisher, JoLyn will be teaching a hands-on class on how to make these adorable pieces.

The class is June 11 from 10-2 here at our annex.

You will need to bring:
Six (6) finished cross stitched pieces (for all sides, top & bottom). These pieces need to be the same size, stitched with at least 1-1/2" between each piece.

Here’s a sneak peek of ‘Ocean in View’!

Join us for two days of fun in our annex on June 27th & 28th.

Beth Twist of Heartstring Samplery and Becky Noland of Lucy Beam will be here with some great projects celebrating the Lewis and Clark expedition.

A quote from Nov. 7, 1805 from Captain William Clark "Great joy in camp we are in View of the Ocian, this great Pacific Octean which we have been So long anxious to See... This is sometimes quoted as "Ocean in view! O! The joy!"

Beth will be covering a 7" round box with fabric in class. The stitching will go on top of the box.

Becky will be working on the inside of a needle roll in class, with the stitching on the outside to be worked on later.

There is no pre-stitching.

Lunch is included both days.

Cost is $300.

Don’t miss out on this fun class!

There are a few spaces left for the 24th (Friday)- 25th (Saturday ) class.

The 22nd (Wednesday )- 23rd (Thursday) class is full, but signup on the waitlist!

As this is our 30th anniversary year we are delighted to welcome Cathy Habermann of ‘Hands on Designs’ to join us to continue to celebrate!

She will be teaching 2 identical sessions; each over two days in July on the 22-23 and then again on 24-25. This is an in-person event only.

Cost is $225 with a $100 registration fee. The balance will be due on June 18th.
