Don’t leave your iron behind. Cast iron is incredibly forgiving, but these simple steps ensure a lifetime of camp meals.
1️⃣ Give it a light coat of oil from our cast iron care kit before packing.
2️⃣ Nesting your pans? Place a canvas shopping bag in between them for protection.
3️⃣ Pack a chainmail scrubber. No soap needed, just hot water from the kettle and a quick scrub by the creek, then dry thoroughly over the embers.
