Update: the remaining projected gap is $128

I have narrowed the projected gap to $128 before July 28, and I am meeting with a veterans’ organization tomorrow to request assistance. I posted a transparent update explaining exactly where things stand and how any excess assistance would be used.

Any donation, share, or flexible work lead still helps enormously.

I currently have $130 available, $100 coming through GoFundMe, and I expect to earn another $120 through plasma donations this week. That gives me a projected total of $350 toward the $478 housing-related utility balance due July 28.

I am also meeting with a veterans’ organization tomorrow to see whether they can assist with some or all of the balance.

If outside assistance covers any portion of the bill, donated funds that are no longer needed for that payment will go toward groceries and other essential living expenses while I replace the paid work I recently lost.

Hi, Autistic Wolf family. I’ve spent years using this page to talk openly about autistic adulthood, survival, advocacy, relationships, parenting, work, burnout, and the strange machinery of being a person in systems that were never designed for us.

Today I need to ask this community for help.

I’m facing a housing-related utility deadline and working to raise the remaining money before July 28. I’ve already received some generous help, and I’m deeply grateful, but I still have a gap to close.

I know many people here are struggling too. Please do not give money you need for your own food, housing, children, animals, or medicine. But with 17,000 people here, even a small number of $5 donations or shares could move this mountain pebble by pebble.

I would also genuinely prefer to earn the money wherever possible. I’m available in the Portland area for:

• Organizing and decluttering
• Cleaning and detailed deep cleaning
• Steam cleaning
• Gardening and plant care
• Pet care
• Custom artwork, carved stones, plaques, and handcrafted commissions

I bring both autistic attention to detail and Army-trained thoroughness. When I take on a job, I see the corners other people walk past.
