A strong breeze greeted us this morning for the final day of racing for the Herreshoff Classic Yacht Regatta All classes started off Poppasqaush point rounding Hog Island and then continuing to the finish back in Newport. A great ending to a fun weekend of classic racing

A great weekend spent covering the 2026 Herreshoff Classic Yacht Regatta at the Herreshoff Marine Museum/America's Cup Hall of Fame in Bristol RI
Three days of sailing, starting with the feeder race from Newport on Friday to Bristol, a navigators race late Saturday under the late afternoon Golden Sun with a strong SW breeze followed by today's closing race around Hog Isl. and then back to Newport.
Hats off to Herreshoff for another great event of classic sailing and Steve Eddleston of US 17, Weatherly for use of his tender so I could capture the action all over the course and Bill Lynn, director of the Herreshoff Museum for inviting me back for another wonderful weekend behind the lens and all the sailing teams that show up and share their love for the classics!
