As a reminder, we will be set up at the Ohio State Coin Show in the "World Coin" Room.
Our store front will be closed this week to prepare for the show. We will take a few appointments but you must call ahead.
So hopefully we will see everyone at the coin show!

We are going to be set up at the Ohio State Show September 3rd, 4th, 5th. We will be closed the week of that show.
This coming week I will be at the ANA in Pittsburg for a couple days, to make a couple business meetings. So I will be out this coming week as well, but we will be open normal business hours this week. Sorry for any inconveniences.

The Redfield Hoard is one of the most famous coin hoards ever discovered. LaVere Redfield was a Nevada millionaire who didn't trust banks and spent decades buying silver dollars, often bringing them home in bags and storing them behind a false wall in his basement. After his death in 1974, more than 400,000 silver dollars were discovered, mostly Morgan and Peace dollars. The hoard was eventually sold for more than $7 million and many of the coins were placed in the famous Redfield holders collectors recognize today. What makes the Redfield Hoard so interesting isn't just the number of coins, but the fact that one man quietly accumulated hundreds of thousands of silver dollars while most people had no idea they were there.
