Flowing Hair Half Dime!
What a coin that we purchased in our shop. A lot of history with this coin, what all did it go through, where all was it spent and who handled this coin for the last 231 years?
It's almost as old as our independance and you don't see these come up for auction very often.

It's important to know this so we all can learn something from it. It can prevent this mistake in the future.
A Trade Dolar was graded genuine by the coin grading company ANACS, and the coin was up for preview at Heritage Coin Auctions.
What most didn't know, but one expert discovered, is that the coin was counterfeit.
