I published a video about Jon AG, and several people came to the channel's defense. We really have to scrutinize everything, even something we like, or tells us what we already think is true or want to believe.
It's not about the AI or being an Asian character, but accountability for what is being said in these videos. It's not about trusting banks or trusting the government or the media, it's about scrutinizing the claims in these videos and finding the sources for the information they're telling their viewers.
These AI videos with Jon AG, (and they're not just limited to just him), do not have any insider knowledge or secret media pipeline. In fact, the AI itself is used to find media articles, videos and social media rumors, then a transcript for the video, based on the scraped info, is crafted by an AI program like ChatGPT.
Believe me, this is how these videos are being created, not from some secret or privy information or some dude hiding behind AI to keep from getting in trouble.
Also, you might think Jon AG was first out with the info, but they're not, check their source, if there is one, then look at when the source came out, then when the video was released. I did it with their Bank of America report video and BofA article was on KITCO the day before.
I've watched several of these videos now and they do not stand up to the facts and most are lies based on rumors from other non-reputable videos. Think about that, the same media and videos people say they don't trust is being used by these Jon AG channels as info for their own video content! Don't believe me? Check it out for yourself.
Anyone one of you could start a channel and do the same videos, and make money.
The threat here, and this is no exaggeration, is AI's ability to create misinformation videos at lighting speed. We can see thousands of these videos and channels popping up in the last few months.
I've already did videos on AI coin videos, again, it's not the AI, but the fake and false information they're spreading, that can easily be researched. Look for reports, sources and look at price guides, to double check what these videos or ANY video is telling you. Even my videos!
Regardless of what some believe, this is a cancer that is just starting, and we can't stop it, but we can prevent ourselves from being fooled and misinformed or defrauded from the truth.
