It’s still so important for me to sketch/draw/color by hand. It really gets me into my head and the ideas I have in there - still such a special (and effective!) way to convey my ideas to clients. “Still” is the operative word here it turns out…. In a time when stuff is turned out in a split second without being fully thought out. I really love embracing the time it takes to make a sketch, draw a picture, color, create an artistic representation on a sheet of paper of what a space or a thing could look like. I’m a total tree hugger, but I’m also ok with wasting a little paper on keeping my profession an art ♥️

Nothing like a good shelf:). Sweet windowseat built-in at the Exeter project - perfect for lazing around, reading or staring out a window and then admiring all the special little trinkets you’ve collected so far. I did the custom shades and block-printed pillows.

Happy 4th from our little house that’s been around longer than this country. It might be the loudest it’s ever been inside these walls, but we do our best to be stewards of this time capsule, and it sure does take good care of us.
