There is something so special about Mother’s Day—the way it gently invites us to pause, reflect, and honor the women who have shaped our lives. When I think about this season, I’m always taken back to the simple, beautiful tea parties I shared with my grandmother.
She is now 98 years old and still lives in the little cottage here on our flower farm. During those quiet afternoons together, I didn’t just learn how to host a tea party—I listened. I heard her stories of times gone by, the way life used to be, the lessons she carried, and the memories that shaped her.
Those moments became more than tea… they became connection, wisdom, and something I now carry with me. They weren’t extravagant, but they were deeply meaningful. They were slow, intentional, and full of presence.
