These dreary Winter days will eventually be replaced by sunshine and the smell of green grass and peonies. But for now, I’ll sort through my seeds and figure out my seed starting schedule 🗒️✍🏼

Well, here I am planting bulbs after the ground has frozen! The hard work of breaking the ground will be worth it in the Spring when these tulips and daffodils bloom.

The breezes are cooler, the sun is more distant, and the shadows are longer - the seasons are turning!
These are White Nite Sunflowers. They are the first sunflowers I’ve grown and are so pretty ☀️

Planting Day
Well, at least the first planting day of the season. Pleased again this year with the soil blocking method of seed starting! This is rudbeckia plant was started from seed and is ready to be planted out. 🌼
