May was a busy month with my real job so I didn't get to do a lot of quilting. I did a baby quilt for a friend and cherries and leopard are the nursery colors. I used the remaining fabric to make a full size quilt for my stash.

This month I had the privilege of quilting some finished tops for friends and family. The most special was the pink and red quilt. This quilt top was hand stitch by my Great Aunt Velma. Her daughter Karen donated some fabric to me and the quilt top was in the fabric. She had no idea it was in there. It was such a blessing to be a part of something so amazing. I was also able to quilt the purple quilt for Karen and quilt the blue and gray quilt for my friend Ashley. The other quilts were my own creations.

So this is the beginning of year four and now my plan is to post quilts as I get them done.
January was a busy quilting month since we had a week of being snowed in.
I wanted to try making rag quilts and am loving how they turned out.
I also want to work on some seasonal themed quilts to display in my home throughout the year. So far, I have a winter, valentines, and fall quilt complete.
