Running a small business isn’t always easy behind the scenes.

Over the past few months, I’ve experienced the loss of my Dad and my Sister, while starting a new job in healthcare and continuing to maintain the business I’ve worked so hard to build.

There were definitely moments when I wondered how I would keep going.

But my faith has given me the strength to keep moving forward. 🙏🏽

I’ve learned that sometimes the challenges we face can strengthen us and remind us where our strength truly comes from.

When I look back and see how Jehovah God has helped me through it all, I’m reminded that I can keep going…

One day at a time.
One step at a time. 💜

✨ Make your products make sense.

One thing I’ve learned while growing my business is that not everything I love making belongs in my product line.

Punch needling has become one of my favorite creative outlets, and since I’ve always loved butterflies, I knew this was something that truly fit my brand. 🦋

When the lights went out...

After Saturday’s thunderstorm, we experienced a blackout that lasted a couple of days. I never imagined that the very things I create and rely on for my business—and use at my markets—would become so essential at home during an unexpected emergency.

My new 8-speed rechargeable camper fan kept me cool through the long nights, and my handmade crackling soy candles filled our dark rooms with comforting light and beautiful fragrance. It was such a reminder that we never know when everyday items can become exactly what we need.

Like so many others, I wasn’t expecting a power outage, but I am truly thankful that we had these helpful essentials on hand. This experience reminded me that being prepared can bring comfort and peace of mind when the unexpected happens.
