The dust has settled on Makers of the West. Literally! Since it’s been raining since Saturday night 🌧️ What a weekend! What started as a random thought one afternoon in MaryAnn L Murray’s leather shop that we both just kind of blurted out at the same time turned into THIS!! Then brining Katie Rae Allison into the wild idea made it all work. I want to thank the shoppers, the vendors, the teachers, the students who came from everywhere, the coffee and food trailers, Devon Burrell for her never ending help these last several weeks and her finance’ Chance, Cord Murray, Mallory and Eric Dougherty for your help jumping in lastnight and helping us tear everything down, Montana Cowboy Creations Kathy Hampton for your help with Lewie and for being there for all of us and bringing your amazing little booth, Paige and Zeb for running the check in table, and everyone else who jumped in and made this weekend work!! And a big thank you to the vendors who stuck around and helped us tear everything down. We took an entire vendor show down in just a touch over an hour 😳🤣 We are looking forward to next year!!

Some of the product headed to Makers of the West starting TOMORROW!! I didn’t build any pads because I didn’t want to take business away from Sleepy Creek Tack that will be there with her pulled wool pads. It’s a small world and we’ve gotta share ☺️ I hope to see you there! Shopping, food trucks, coffee trucks…come sit down at my booth and stay awhile! I’d love to visit with you.

It’s been a little slow on the building front of Powder River Cowboy Gear the last 2 weeks as we really buckled down and are preparing for Makers of the West ❗️THIS❗️ Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Miles City, MT!! Come on down to the Home Show Building at Custer County Fairgrounds. We’ve got a ton of western vendors! Food trucks! A coffee truck!! AND!! A band Saturday night! There is a $5 charge at the door to get in (cash only). Eat and sip some coffee while you do some shopping for yourself or get ahead on your Christmas shopping!
