What's new at the studio?

Every Thursday from 4-6 is Hand Building Class
For beginners. We will be making animal wind chimes, or use your creativity to make your own creature. You will leave your art with us and we will glaze it the color of your choice. You can pick it up after it has been glaze fired in a month.

2nd and 4th Friday from 6-8 is Wheel Throwing Class
In this single session beginner class you will get an introduction to wheel throwing. Each student will get three pre-wedged balls of clay and follow along with your instructor to make a cup. You leave the finished piece with us and pick it up after it has been fired in a month.

Every Friday and Saturday during business hours is Open Art
We are most excited to offer open art. This is an opportunity for community members to use studio space and tools.

Meet our sculptor, Zoey!

Zoey has been sculpting pretty much her whole life. She is Joe and I's daughter so she grew up doing pottery. She primarily likes to sculpt, but occasionally throws on the wheel.

If you bring your kids in for a pinch pot class, Zoey will likely be their teacher! Zoey may also be teaching some of our hand building classes. She loves kids, and is working on getting her Early Childhood Education Degree from NWC to teach Preschoolers.

Meet our potter, Joe!

Joe has been throwing pottery since high school (20 years ago!). He gets shiny vision every time the kiln is opened, and loves every piece that comes out.

Don't tell him we have to sell some of them.

Also, Joe doesn't see our Facebook. He is my husband, so I can share embarrassing pictures of him. I promise if anyone else comes into our studio I will ask before I share pictures of you.
