The flower farmer has left the building. ✌️

Or more accurately, traded her harvest snips for a beach chair and a much-needed break.

We’re taking advantage of the kids’ fall break and getting out of town for the week. Which means no fresh flowers at the stand until Thursday, October 22!

And while I absolutely love what I do, this break couldn’t come at a better time. We’re heading into the final stretch of fresh flower season, followed by digging dahlias, clearing beds, and planting THOUSANDS of plants that will become your early spring and Mother’s Day flowers.

But first? I’m hoping to rest my brain, actually read the book I packed (instead of returning it to the library untouched), and take as many beach naps as humanly possible.

The flower stand isn’t completely empty, though! My flower friends at M Henry Design Florals have stocked it with gorgeous fall wreaths. Witchy, minimal, vintage, and everything in between. There’s a little something for every fall personality.

So swing by for a wreath while I’m away, and I’ll see you back at the flower stand on October 22 for the final weeks of fresh, locally grown flowers!

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some very important napping to do.

The Early Spring Cut Flower Collection is officially available!

I’ve already done the hard part for you: choosing the varieties, sourcing the seeds, starting them, and growing them into healthy seedlings.

The flowers are shifting into those deeper, moodier fall colors, the pumpkins have arrived, and honestly, the whole stand is having a very good September moment.

Stop by Thursday–Saturday and stock up on flowers, pumpkins + mums for the weekend. Come early for the best selection!
