This is not a drill. 😍 Groovy Girl Cafe is making her FIRST EVER public appearance with the trailer at our Fill-A-Bag Sale this Saturday. Yes, the trailer. We're a little emotional about it.

Here's what she's pouring:
☕ Cookie Butter Latte
🍌 Banana Bread Chai
🧊 Cold brew coffee
🌿 Chai + matcha drinks
And the treats? Matcha Cookies and Coffee Cake Muffins. Come hungry.

Lunaria Greenhouse will be here too with plants, ridiculously cute pots, and DIY Terrariums. Plus our Fill-A-Bag Sale—bring your own bag, pay by the pound, and dig through nearly double the clothing from last time.

Plants, lattes, and a bag full of finds. Local doesn't get better than this.

Our Fill-A-Bag Sale just got greener. 🌍 Lunaria Greenhouse crushed her pop-up last weekend, but she's got a few plants left. So we did the only reasonable thing—invited her back to clear it all out!

Here's what she's bringing:
🪴 Indoor plants (with or without pots)
🌿 Some of the CUTEST plant pots you've ever seen
✨ A few DIY Terrariums

Which means Saturday's lineup is officially stacked with TWO local faves:
🌱 Lunaria Greenhouse — plants, pots, and terrariums
☕ Groovy Girl Cafe — specialty drinks and treats

Our last Fill-A-Bag, the first hour looked like a wrestling match. 🤼‍♂️ We had fun, but that's not the vibe.

So here's how Round 2 works: Bring your own bag, fill it, pay by the pound. Simple.

But the price shifts throughout the day:
⏰ First hour (10–11am): $3.89/lb
🛍️ Rest of the day (11am–3pm): $2.29/lb
Why? To keep the early rush calm. Sustainable shopping should feel good, not like a race to grab, sprint home & realize none of it fits or you don't actually love it.

Here's what clothes weigh on average, so you can do the math:
Tank tops & lightweight tees: 0.25 lbs
Dresses: 0.75 lbs
Sweatshirts: 0.9 lbs
Jeans: 1.5 lbs

So say you grab 2 pairs of jeans, 1 sweatshirt, and 3 tanks/tees. That's about $15 in the first hour or roughly $9 the rest of the day. Either way? A steal.

Take your time. Try things on in your head. Only keep what you'll actually wear.
And when you need a break, Groovy Girl Cafe is right there with cold brew, chai, matcha, and treats.

Closing early today — doors shut at 4pm! 🤠

Fun reason, promise: I'm trading the shop for the stage tonight & playing with my 90s Country band, Haystack Union, over in Washburn. Come two-step with us if you're around!

We work hard to keep steady hours, but sometimes life (and a little live music) gets in the way. Between other jobs, school, and the occasional well-earned vacation, our crew keeps a lot of plates spinning. 😉 Thanks for rolling with us.

"Smell Me!" 👃 not "Dig In!" 😄

A friendly PSA: those little jars are just our candle wax with the matching fragrance — basically a tiny candle minus the wick. That means they're for smelling, not for using as:
❌ Lotion
❌ Salve
❌ Solid perfume

We know, we know — they smell good enough to wear. And even though our wax is non-toxic & plant-based, rubbing it on your skin, hair, or clothes isn't the move. 👕 (Fair warning: it will stain your favorite shirt.)

Want to bring the scent home? That's what our candles, room sprays, and diffusers are for. 🕯️

Give the jars a sniff, pick your favorite, and leave the fingerprints to the crime dramas. 💚😉

Why set an alarm this Saturday? 🍄 DIY Terrarium Kits.

Round two of our Lunaria Greenhouse pop-up is this Saturday, Aug 8th, 📆 and Emily's bringing something new to the porch. Each kit comes with everything you need to build your own tiny plant world at home — soil, container, the works — plus you get to hand-pick two mini plants from her selection.

Fair warning: there are only a handful of these.

Not into the DIY life? No problem. The lineup's stacked with indoor newcomers too:
🪴 Philodendron Velvet — soft leaves, dramatic energy
🌱 Cebu Blue Pothos — the cool blue-green one everyone keeps asking about
🍃 Ferns — a little drama for that empty shelf

We're open 10am until sold out on our front porch (weather permitting). 🌿 Don't forget to bring that friend who'd build a terrarium purely to say they built a terrarium.

Candles were officially on the back burner… but not anymore! 🕯️Our kitchen reno kept us from doing one of our favorite things: pouring candles. So this week, that's ALL we're doing. Wax, wicks, and a whole lot of good scents.
