Super stoked about how this huge beer list chalkboard came out for Captain's Pub in Groton! 🍺🍕 Even their exact logo is hand drawn in liquid chalk 👌

My availability for the next few months will be slightly more limited than normal as I rest a very problematic spine (or atleast not exacerbate the problem 😅) and enjoy some time camping with my family, but I'm keeping some spots open for my loyal customers! Priority must go to projects I can complete at home, as big scale projects on stationary surfaces are getting more challenging for me. This one was mostly a breeze though with lots of careful planning. 😊 Get your spring and summer orders in stat! 🤘

I'm baaaa-aaack! 🥳 (featuring this custom pizza-themed birthday board that is almost as adorable as my sweet nephew 🥰🍕)

My chalkin' hiatus is officially over and I am ready to get back to work on all your custom projects and ideas! 👩‍🎨🎨

Making a few small changes to my booking process to make the transition back a bit smoother for my clients and myself:
🔸️ All bookings, unless otherwise agreed upon, will require a 50% deposit at time of booking to secure your spot.
🔸️ Bookings will be accompanied by a booking agreement that will include your project delivery date, price of your commissioned project, and the details of your custom piece!
🔸️ I will be running regular promotions, for both a percentage off if your project is booked by a certain date, and for deals on certain designs and projects with your customizations!

Announcement for my amazing clients and followers:

First and foremost, I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for your business, trust, and support, especially in the past year which has been more chalk-filled than I ever could've imagined ❤️ I am grateful beyond words and have learned and progressed a ton in the past year, as you have challenged me to push beyond my comfort zone and experiment with new styles and projects. This is truly my passion, and getting to be a part of memorializing the special moments in your lives means the absolute world to me. 🙌🌎

With that being said, in order to keep this venture something that I enjoy and that fills my happy cup rather than a constant time-crunch and scramble, I need to take a short hiatus from taking on new commissions. As much as I love taking all requests and making them happen for when you need them, the rest of my obligations and priorities are not set up for the amount of projects I've been taking on, and my brain and back are feelin' it 😅 During this short break, I will be revamping my business structure to have a more sustainable schedule for completion of your projects, and will formulate a service contract that makes the commission process smoother and more manageable for both my clients and myself as a one-woman-shop. 👩‍🎨💪

*All projects already booked with me will, of course, be honored and delivered as promised.*

I will announce my reopening near the end of August to ensure your kiddos have their much-anticipated Back to School boards!

I've been a bit MIA on here lately, but certainly not for lack of projects to share! I have been busier than ever and am so grateful for all of you that have supported my small business and therefore, my family and my dream ❤️✨️🙌

Speaking of small businesses, if you haven't checked out Dexter's Smoothie Coffee Vault yet, you're missing out. Their smoothies and freshly brewed coffee are to die for, and the team is always so lovely and welcoming. I recently had the honor of creating this giant sign for them for the Rose Arts Festival and it now lives at their shop as an accent piece! ☕️🧋This is my largest commissioned piece yet so naturally, I had to stand next to it to demonstrate the size 🤭 Huge thank you to Dexter's and the crew for trusting me with this project, I hope to work with you again in the future! 🥰

Finished up this one just in time for my beautiful sister's baby shower this past weekend! 🌸🎀

I love getting to play with lettering and florals with a bit more sophisticated style than my 1st birthday boards. When planning for these projects, I consider your invitations and party decor to match your custom board to your theme and colors. This one coordinated beautifully with the stunning balloon arches and handcrafted floral arrangements that made this shower the most beautiful celebration I've ever seen! 😍

It's great when a project goes well right from the start and I don't run into any hiccups! 🤩 with that being said, things don't always go according to plan, but that won't stop me from reworking it to get it right.

A dear friend asked me to redo a board I had created in the past to show off her amazing new product line! Why waste a brand new board when I could just redo the other one, right? I sanded and stripped the old surface in hopes that a coat of new chalk paint would give me a fresh surface to work on. Welp, if you look at the second photo, you can see that didn't go so well 😬

Instead, I rebuilt the board entirely with a new surface and was still able to reconstruct the original frame to match the other boards in her salon! 👌

Anyway, the point here is I will not deliver your project unless I'm 100% confident I did everything I could to bring your vision to life and that you're getting the quality you expect. I could've just coated the old board in a ton of layers of chalk paint and called it "good enough", but my work and attention to detail is not only a representation of my small business, but also a representation of ME! ❤️ When booking with me, you can rest assured that "good enough" is not in my vocabulary and I will not stop replanning, redoing, and perfecting until I know I'm giving you something you'll be proud to display.

How cute is Harper's First Trip around the Sun board for her first birthday?! 🌞

It feels crazy to me to be making birthday boards for the littles of kids I grew up with. Seems like just yesterday we were celebrating our own single digit birthdays together! Thank you Marley for the honor of creating a keepsake to remember Harper's special day. 🥰
