I am a builder of one of a kind furniture and treasures; creating from reclaimed and hand salvaged materials. The name MGN originates from a gift given to me many years ago - a mason jar of nails, from my late grandfather's workshop. Into every one of a kind piece I create, I drive in one of My Grandfatherโs Nails, to pass on the history of our family, and the passion for old beautiful things. Abo
ut me:
I grew up in Prineville, and for the last 20 years my wife and I, along with our kids, lived in Astoria Or, where I was a co-owner of an architectural salvage and antique store. After the passing of my own Father a few years ago, I felt a strong need to return to our hometown. To ensure my mother could continue living independently and comfortably in her own home, for all of her life. Leaving the business of life in Astoria has afforded me more time to focus on quality time with my wife, and my passion of building and creating. I have also been blessed to connect deeper in friendship and now in business with my sister who is a painter of furniture. In our collaboration, we are proudly able to produce, market and sell our merchandise. I thank you for stopping by my page to learn more about me, and my passion. I truly feel I'm a blessed man. I am grateful for the talent that God has given me to see objects, and found pieces, from a different perspective than others do - and allowing me to give those pieces a second chance and a new life. I hope you enjoy the pieces you see, as much as I enjoy creating them. Many of my pieces and antiques are available for purchase in our booth at The Back Porch & Co, 2127 S Hwy 97, Redmond Oregon. Open 7 days a week. I also enjoy custom building pieces for interior designers, home builders and by appointment will sell architectural pieces to said individuals. Please reach out if you would like to schedule an appointment to tour my private stash of goods. I hope you will follow my page, share me with your friends and family then return to see what I have created as you may want one of them in your home. Sincerely,
Paul
