This project was such a rewarding challenge. The lot sits on a peninsula on Prior Lake, which meant limited square footage and unique constraints—but also incredible potential. I designed the floor plans and selected every detail inside and out, maximizing the squat footage and those beautiful lake views. It’s rare for me to create the floor plans myself, which makes this home extra special to me. 💗

When you’re building your dream home, the details matter big time. An architect makes sure the layout, proportions, and flow all work together so the house feels as amazing as it looks.

As the designer, I work side-by-side with the architect and the clients early on, making sure the floor plans aren’t just beautiful on paper, but actually work for the way each family lives. Everyone has their own quirks, routines, and must-haves, and those little things are what make a house truly feel like home.

For this beauty on Prior Lake, the architect nailed the vision and architectural details, then I took it from there with the selections. Together with the clients, we brought it to life with the perfect finishes, colors, and textures so the architecture and interiors tell the same story.

Now she’s a total showstopper on Prior Lake. A home that’s as stunning as the lake it sits on. 🌊✨
