🎉 Exciting News! Last week, NEMD Architects, TOCCI and STV, along with the State of Rhode Island, celebrated the ribbon-cutting at Eleanor Slater Hospital's Regan Building, a significant step towards improving behavioral healthcare in the state.

This project encompassed the Health Upgrades for the State of Rhode Island renovating six floors of⚕️Eleanor Slater’s Regan Building, creating over 60,000 sf of Behavioral Health space. These enhancements are designed to create a safe and supportive environment. The project🛏️included secure lockdown psychiatric units, group therapy, consultation rooms, and patient beds. Specialty impact windows, anti-barricade doors, and advanced security systems will ensure a safe environment.

This elegant and heartfelt event celebrated hope, healing, and the strength of community. The evening marked an impressive milestone, raising a record-breaking $1.5 million to support Bradley Hospital's mission of caring for children, adolescents, and families throughout the region.

Bravo Bradley continues to support Bradley Hospital's outpatient programs through its Fund-a-Need initiative, ensuring families have access to essential resources for their children to thrive and succeed.

Flashback to June 2024 and the grand opening ✨of South County Health’s New Balise Entrance.

NEMD designed📐 the new Balise Entrance (formerly the West Entrance) choosing materials and architectural features to effectively merge two main entrances of the hospital, inviting patients, visitors, and staff into the heart of the building. 🏥The overarching goal was to create a seamless connection between the structures and achieve a cohesive architectural design.

🅿️The new entrance enhances accessibility for patients and visitors, with dedicated parking spaces conveniently located near the entrance.
