We tend to take amazing photos of our built work, but we couldn't help but reflect on the massive effort, thought, and hours our dedicated team puts in to create those inspiring spaces in the landscape. The boards at are full of drawing on top of drawings, constantly refining and searching for solutions to meet our client's needs, budgets and aspirations.

Principal Art Eddy and Finance Director Marie Eddy of Traverse Landscape Architects had a great time catching up with friends and colleagues at the ASBA Technical Meeting in Palm Desert. Great show with great content, and we visited Joshua Tree National Park.

At Traverse Landscape Architects, we have always been focused on creating safe access for students to bike and walk to school. In the last few years, we have seen a dramatic increase in the number of bikes in the racks. Traverse Landscape Architects has always focused on landscape architecture for K-12 schools and how to enhance outdoor space to make it more dynamic, functional and versatile. Our projects, while focused on the educational benefits to the faculty and students, have also focused on the benefits to mental health and physical well-being that greenspace can have on the faculty and students.

Traverse Landscape Architects started working on making synthetic turf more sustainable by holding a summit in 2017 to figure out how to store water for irrigation. In 2021 working with the school department and the town of Natick, that field was built at the new Kennedy Middle School with an alternative infill. Thanks to for making this project a reality.

Racing against the fall weather. Two new multi-use synthetic turf grass fields and a natural grass sod field are going in at the new Dennis Yarmouth Middle School. Excited to be part of this exciting project.

Traverse Landscape Architects got the opportunity to tour the Amana Colonies. Traverse is excited to assist with a new master plan for agritourism master plan and got to tour the site in Amana, Iowa.

Traverse Landscape Architects Principal Arthur Eddy and Senior Associate Justin Robertshaw toured the Bird Preserve site. Traverse is excited to be part of this conservation project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
