*Almost* 2 dozen jars of grape jelly (4 got dumped bc I didn’t use enough pectin, oops… Apparently I can’t read instructions very well) 😅🍇
I have never liked grape jelly, but being able to make it with a fraction of the sugar means it actually tastes like grapes and not cough syrup (that’s what even the smell of “grape flavor” makes me think of) HOWEVER the low-sugar pectin warned that it may take up to 2 weeks to fully set… so I will crack one open then and make sure it worked out 🤞😬
I really never have any idea what I’m doing bc no one taught me any of this… I’m learning on the job 🙃

We’ve got another critter joining the Broad Sky family… can you guess what I’m building? 😁🐇 I’m using almost all scrap and salvage materials from around the farm, and I’ve still got a ways to go… But the heavy lifting is done (thanks to my friend for loaning me her teens for a few hours!) 🥰
Okay if you’re still reading, it’s a big rabbit hutch! I can’t keep secrets, so don’t tell me where you buried someone. We recently got a baby French Lop, and the breed gets rather large (apparently the second largest domestic breed?), so this is going to be a 6x3x3’ hutch to give a full grown French Lop plenty of space. In the future, if I wanted to convert it into two smaller cages, I can easily put a divider in the middle. It’s under the back eave of the house so it’s relatively protected but I’m still going to put a roof and solid sides on it to keep out wind/rain/snow. After all this, I’ll have to fashion a sort of rabbit tractor as well so she can graze and play! Oh and of course, we named the bunny Flopsy 🥰
