Homemade Sweet Potato Pie. Thanksgiving is around the corner. Do not try new things on the day. Pre try through the week and see if it will be good enough to add. This one is a WINNER.
6 Sweet Potato’s. Boil with skin on until soft
1 1/4 cup sugar
2 TBSP flour
1/2 tsp of All Spice
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 tsp ginger
1/4 cup molasses
1/3 cup of cubed cold butter

Peel the skins off the cooked potatoes
Mix all together- if the pie mix is to wet / runny add in a corn starch slurry and it will thicken
Pour in a pie crust and bake 350 about an hour. Keep the crust covered with foil or a pie crust cover so it doesn’t burn.

Cool and serve with whipped cream or not. Eat how you like it. It’s delicious!!
