Sawmill Pottery 2013 winner of Yankee Magazines "Best Pottery Studio in Connecticut" Sawmill Pottery was founded in 2003 by potter Dot Burnworth.

Sawmill Pottery offers a wide variety of classes and workshops for all ages, plus open studio time. A gallery and retail shop in front of the studio features the work of local and regional artists, including Burnworth and many others. Sawmill Pottery also hosts many gallery openings and artist talks throughout the year. In addition to the clay work Sawmill Pottery offers classes on glass fusing and slumping as well as drop in Paint-Your-Own pottery.
