Age Is a Number. Experience Is a Story.
When there’s an age gap between two people, it’s easy to assume the older person has experienced more simply because they’ve been on this planet longer.

But life doesn’t work that neatly.

Two people can be decades apart and still have experienced some of the same things. And sometimes the younger person has experienced things the older person never has.

Time gives you years.
Life gives you experiences.

You can’t measure someone’s depth by their birth year.

Maybe one person has learned lessons through relationships, while the other has learned them through loss, travel, family, work, or simply surviving things nobody else knows about.

So before we decide that an age gap means two people can’t possibly understand each other, maybe we should remember:

We’re all carrying stories the other person hasn’t read yet.

And sometimes the differences aren’t what keep two people apart.
Sometimes they’re exactly what gives them something to learn from each other.

Trie of Wisdom: Don’t confuse someone’s age with the depth of their life experience.

Okay, little Facebook reality check + a HUGE thank you. If you think just following your friend’s business page is supporting them, it definitely helps, but there’s actually more you can do — especially if you can’t afford to buy their products or services. Facebook pays us based on engagement, so a like, comment, share, watching a video, or inviting a friend can actually help a small business get seen. And that costs you absolutely nothing.

I recently had a video blow up a little, and my Facebook payout went from about $5 for everything I posted in July to around $25 in August. 😂 Am I getting rich? Nope! But $25 can buy me a meal or put some gas in the car, and when you’re trying to build a business, those little wins matter!

Trying to build a business is HARD. It takes passion, patience, persistence and determination… and probably a healthy sense of humor because sometimes you’re like, “What the hell am I doing?” 😂

So seriously, THANK YOU to everyone who follows, watches, likes, comments, shares and interacts with my page. I appreciate you more than you know. I actually read and respond to your comments because to me, that’s what social media is supposed to be about — CONNECTION.

And if you’re someone who says, “I don’t do Facebook,” because you don’t post, that’s okay too! No shame. 😂 You don’t have to post to participate.

So next time you see a friend trying to build something, remember that even a little ❤️, comment, share or watch can make a difference.

Sometimes your free little click might help someone buy dinner or fill their gas tank. And honestly… I’ll take that kind of support any day. 🥰
