There’s something magical about letting your hands wander through the sand while the waves keep rhythm in the background.

Today I found myself creating neurographic lines right on the beach. Waves crashing, birds calling, dragonflies dancing through the air, warm sand beneath my feet reminding me to slow down and be present. No agenda. No pressure. Just squiggles, nature, and a chance to let my mind breathe.

What started as a few simple lines turned into a peaceful moving meditation. A way to decompress, clear the mental clutter, and reconnect with yourself. Sometimes 30 minutes is all you need. Sometimes three hours disappear before you even notice.

The best part? There’s no right or wrong way to do it. Just show up, make marks in the sand, and see where they take you.

Have you ever drawn in the sand and watched your worries drift away with the tide? Tell me what your favorite way to unwind in nature is. 🌊✨🌀

And if the idea of creating mindful squiggles by the ocean speaks to you, send me a message. I’d love to explore a beach meditation and art experience together.

This morning I found myself watching the seaweed draped across the rocks. It wasn’t trying to be beautiful. It wasn’t trying to create art. It was simply moving with the tide, twisting, bending, flowing wherever the water carried it.

As I sat by the ocean with my sketchbook, those same shapes found their way onto the page. One squiggle became another. Lines intertwined and wandered without a plan. Just like the seaweed, I let go of needing to know where it was going.

That’s one of the things I love most about intuitive art. Nature rarely moves in straight lines. Rivers don’t. Roots don’t. Seaweed doesn’t. Why should our creativity?

Sometimes the most interesting things emerge when we stop forcing and start flowing.

Today’s drawing was inspired by the seaweed on the rocks, dancing with the tide and reminding me that not everything needs a destination to have meaning.

What in your life could use a little less control and a little more flow? 🌊✏️💙

Woke up super early this morning and couldn’t get back to sleep thanks to my allergies. 🤧

But I’ve learned not to let things like that stop me from getting outside and connecting with nature. So I grounded myself, hit a couple of state parks, and spent the morning exploring.

The last stop was David Lynch Memorial Park and wow… this place is huge. There’s plenty of space to walk, swim, picnic, relax, or just spend the day soaking up the outdoors. The parking lot is massive too, which is always a bonus.

As someone who loves wandering without much of a plan, this felt like one of those hidden gems where you could easily spend an entire day.

Photo dump coming later. 📸🌿

Today’s canvas: me. 😆

I’ve always been drawn to body art, so I decided to doodle on myself and test out some products. No sketch. No plan. Just curiosity.

Turns out creativity doesn’t care what the canvas is—it just wants permission to play.

I may be branching out and adding some temporary body art to the mix. So if you see me at a show or festival and you’d be interested in wearing a little Hugatrie-inspired design, let me know. 🌿🎨💜

You never know where a little curiosity might lead. ✨

As I’ve been clearing things out, I’ve realized I want this page to be more focused on the art itself—the finished pieces, works in progress, creative experiments, and all the beautiful messiness in between.

The Trietopia Creative Playground Group is where I share the deeper thoughts and life perspectives. This space is becoming more of an art studio.

So tell me… what kind of art do you connect with most?
