Project Look Back: Statewide Mobile Airport Facilities
Looking back at a project that challenged our teams to move quickly, adapt, and keep going.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Castaway Construction & Restoration, along with Cooling Hawaii and Hawaii Electrical Solutions, constructed mobile airport medical facilities, processing centers, and control rooms across Oʻahu, Maui, Hawaiʻi Island, and Kauaʻi.
With changing scopes, tight timelines, and unexpected challenges, the project required agility, persistence, transparency, and teamwork at every step. Our teams stayed focused, communicated openly, and continued moving the work forward.
This project remains a meaningful part of our history and a reminder of what can be accomplished when an OHANA comes together with purpose, professionalism, and aloha.
