We all scream for 🍦🍦!! This is my third year decorating for a big summer birthday bash that Connie Cj's Deli throws for her grandkids and I am always delighted to see what her theme will be!!

Well my friends, today’s the day… I am now officially 40 years old! 🥳

I got to celebrate with my sweet mama on a whale watching tour… and it was absolute magic. We saw three orca pods (one during an active porpoise hunt) and two humpbacks and all my wildest dreams came true! 🐋🐳

If you know me personally, you may know my birthday and I have had a complicated relationship over the years. I wouldn’t call it cursed… but let’s just say I remind the important people in my life to not take any unnecessary risks on this precarious day 🤣🤣

So when our boat was surrounded by whales on all sides, and we got to see an orca breach I took it as a sign…

I’m officially declaring my birthday curse broken!! 🎉🎈🎊

Forty is off to a pretty amazing start, and if this is how the decade begins, I can’t wait to see what’s next!! Cheers to the best that’s yet to come!!

It was my sweet Ellie’s 9th birthday yesterday and we celebrated in style with the colors of her favorite band, Katseye. When I started Cascade Balloons five years ago, hers was the first birthday I got to work on and she decided to do a Bluey theme. Little did I know what this business would become or how she has continued to be my work sidekick all these years later.

You may have seen her with me at installs, she can carry a 7 ft column like a boss, and wants to be a balloon artist when she grows up 😍 she is always so complimentary of my work and supports me in a way that sometimes brings me to tears. May we all be so lucky to have someone like her in our lives!

Happy Birthday Ellie, I love you more than words can say!

Neons are having a moment and these Betallic_SempertexUS balloons were a perfect addition to this 90s themed dance party!! I don’t understand how I’m old enough to be doing these type of throwbacks to when I was ACTUALLY alive and yet…here we are 🤣🤣
