This is super upsetting.
When I started making candle formulas in 2020 my wax was $90 per case. It's now $150 per case and it's about to go up again. In that time my prices have gone from $14 to (and just recently) $16 for the standard mason jar 16 oz. I don't like to raise my prices. I don't feel like I can charge more than $16, and I really don't want to.
The cost of all of my other supplies have gone up too.
If I can avoid it I will not raise my prices, but I may have to stop selling wholesale. Which is also super upsetting because more than half of my orders are wholesale and it puts my products in stores all over the country.
But I can't continue doing it with 0 or negative profit margins.
I'm just letting y'all know. I will continue to sell from my website for as long as I can, but if I see another massive price hike I will no longer be able to continue selling at wholesale prices and I will have to shut down my Faire account.
