Getting older is funny… 😂
I used to worry about what people thought of me.
Now I'm more concerned about whether I remembered my glasses, where I put my phone, and if I have enough Pepsi in the house. 🤣🥤
Somewhere along the way, you realize life is way too short to take yourself so seriously.

Our neighborhood watch is missing one very important member. ❤️🐾

This was Jax, also known as our nosey neighbor. 😂

He always had to know what was going on over that wall. Who was outside? What were they doing? And most importantly… why hadn't anyone consulted him? 🤣

We lost Jax this past December, and I sure miss seeing this.

It's funny how the little things they did that made us laugh become some of the things we miss the most. ❤️

First the beautiful golden sunset, then I turned around and saw it lighting up the hospital behind me. A little later, this was the same sunset from my backyard.

I never get tired of skies like this. ❤️

Mother’s Day… but make it memorable. 😂

I thought a nice hike would be a great way to spend Mother’s Day. Beautiful Arizona day, gorgeous mountain, feeling pretty proud of myself. 😎⛰️

And then… I broke my leg at the TOP of the mountain. 🤦‍♀️😂

Nothing says “Happy Mother’s Day” quite like crutches and a walking boot!

Apparently this is my version of aging gracefully-ish. 🤣

Anyone else have a holiday that definitely did NOT go according to plan? 😂
