We’ve been getting a lot of questions about our furniture services lately, so we figured it was time to break it all down!

While furniture and styling are a separate service from our architectural and interior design work, they are truly what bring a home to life. And spoiler alert… there’s a whole lot more that goes into furnishing a home than just picking out pretty pieces.

From space planning and sourcing to coordinating finishes, managing orders, tracking deliveries, and those final styling details, our full-service furniture process is designed to take the overwhelm off your plate.

We believe a beautifully designed home deserves an equally thoughtful finishing touch. Furniture is what adds the warmth, personality, comfort, and layers that make a house feel like your home.

Something spooky is brewing at Wren House!

We are SO excited to officially announce our very first holiday event at the studio — BRUSHES & BOOS!

We’ve been dreaming up fun ways to bring people into our little corner of Gilbert, and what better way to kick things off than with a spooky little bash?!

Think Halloween-inspired painting, something yummy to sip on, Hocus Pocus playing in the background, and a whole lot of fun!

Whether you’re coming with your girlfriends or flying solo, we can’t wait to open our showroom doors, welcome some new faces, and spend an evening getting creative together.

Costumes? Encouraged. Good times? Absolutely required.

A little glimpse into what “material selections” actually looks like.

For , we knew we wanted limestone flooring but finding THE limestone meant looking at color, undertone, variation, finish, size and how it worked with everything else we were envisioning for the home.

And then there’s something as “simple” as white subway tile… except there are approximately 1,000 versions of white subway tile. Glossy or matte. Warm or cool. Handmade or uniform. Bright white, creamy white, slightly gray white. And yes, they all look different once they’re sitting next to your other materials.

This is just one tiny glimpse into the selection process and the amount of detail that goes into creating a material palette that feels cohesive, intentional and right for the home.

The pretty samples are fun but the magic is in choosing the right ones.

Settle in. Grab a snack. Maybe a coffee. We’re gonna be here for a minute. 😂

But if you’ve ever wondered what are you actually paying a designer for? — this one’s for you (on a basic level because I’m unscripted, rambling and forgot to mention stuff) 🤷🏼‍♀️

We’re talking through what happens behind the pretty finishes: the planning, drawings, selections, meetings, coordination, revisions, documentation, problem-solving…and all the tiny decisions that have to happen before your home ever starts looking like the Pinterest board.

So yes, it’s a long one. But if you’re considering hiring an interior designer for a new build or full-home remodel, grab your snack and let’s talk.

Let’s ramble a bit..

When should you hire an interior designer? Who comes first? And what happens when you wait until the last second to bring us in?

Spoiler: your designer should be involved a whole lot earlier than you might think.

Getting us involved early means we can help guide the decisions that affect the entire home before plans are finalized, selections are rushed, or something gets installed that costs even more to change later.

Because yes… you can hire us when construction is already underway. But catching up, redesigning around decisions already made, and fixing avoidable mistakes can add time and money to your project.

Moral of the ramble: if you’re thinking about building or remodeling, it’s probably not too early to call your designer.

This might look like total chaos to you… or honestly, just a bunch of wood.

But to us? We can already see it.

The sightlines. The cabinetry. The lighting. The finishes. The way you’ll move through the space. The moments that don’t quite exist yet—but will.

Framing is one of those stages where the vision starts stepping off the plans and into real life. You might see 2x4s. We’re already mentally styling the finished room.

Trust the process. We promise, it gets pretty.
