This is one of our projects on the industrial side...a new dry fertilizer storage building for Frankford Farm Services. 19' tall concrete walls will make up five separate bins for material. The mild temps have allowed for a lot of concrete to be poured. Framing up the rest of the structure will soon follow. Nice work Bleigh Construction Company.

The restoration of the historic façade of the Two Rivers Regional Council of Public Officials building at 120 South Madison Street in Pittsfield, Illinois is officially complete. We are excited to reopen the building for our services and the Reachout Thrift Store on Friday, March 1st, 2024. The organization will hold a grand reopening and ribbon cutting for the historic building in the near future so please watch for that. Our organization is excited to officially reintroduce the community to this gorgeous building and showcase the stunning improvements that have been made. The restoration project has captured the attention of many in the area and for good reason. After making structural improvements to the interior and exterior of the building, we officially closed the building in August of 2023 to begin the façade project. We are delighted to reopen this popular community center so that we can help meet the needs of the residents of Pike County.
We are amazed with the final result and hope the community is happy with it as well. Two Rivers Regional Council of Public Officials wants to thank the Pike County Board, Tracy Family Foundation, and Liberty Bank for their support and funding for the project. We also want to thank Petty Construction Company, Architechnics, and John Petty & Sons Custom Builders for the beautiful, finished product.
We look forward to our official reopening and ribbon cutting to formally celebrate our newly renovated building. We cannot wait to celebrate this milestone with you. Stay tuned for more details on the date and time so you can join us in person for this special occasion.

“We are thrilled to finally announce the long-awaited update that has been in the works for quite some time. We want to express our gratitude to the community and our dedicated staff for their patience and support throughout this process. We are excited to unveil a new building façade that truly embodies the values of Pittsfield and Pike County. Thank you for your continued support!” Jeremy Oshner, Executive Director.

We were optimistically cautious about the final outcome when we started this façade renovation to the historic Pittsfield Illinois Opera House built in 1894. The general contractor Petty Construction Co. had a few old photos that offered some hope that we would find something nice, but nobody really knew what we were getting into. The extent of the beauty and craftmanship that was underneath the textured cement coating that was applied sometime in the mid 20th century is uncommon and unique. They just don't get built like this anymore folks! As the layers began to get peeled away, it was obvious that this was going to be something special. People kept asking, "Why would you ever cover that beautiful masonry up?" There is really no good answer to that question in our opinion! We are absolutely thrilled with this almost-end result. In a few weeks, handrails for the ramp in front will be added, but we couldn't wait any longer to share these images. The contractors who worked on the project did a such a terrific job. It is such an honor to give life back to such a glorious structure. The Two Rivers Regional Council and the Reachout Thrift Store certainly have something to be excited and proud about!
