I'm thrilled to announce that I am Ms. Heartland! I'm representing the Midwest and surrounding states, including Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, and South Dakota, in the Miss UCA pageant this fall. With my platform, "Art for All: Healing Through Creativity," I promote acceptance, cultural representation, and access to the arts - all of which I've been passionate and involved in my community for over 20 years. I'm excited to share my story and inspire others, continuing to empower communities through the arts and advocacy.

I've always been drawn to drawing eyes - it's honestly one of my favorite features to capture when drawing human faces. There's just something about the emotion and depth they bring to a piece.

It was an absolute honor to serve on the Leadership Racine Arts and Culture panel alongside amazing women from the Racine arts community, including the Racine Arts Council, Racine Symphony Orchestra, 6th Street Theatre and Racine Theatre Guild. As a proud Leadership Racine alumna, it was especially meaningful to share my story and experiences on the other side of the table, be the presenter, and answer questions from the students - it was a full-circle moment! 😊 Highlighting my work in the arts and my businesses in the community was a blast, and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to give back.😊
