White Oak with Jacobean Stain

10/11/2026

When the DIY attempt (or the “cheaper guy”) turns into a disaster… call in the pros. 🪵✨ This oak floor had a rough road: a botched refinish job from another contractor plus deep pet stains. Instead of tearing it all out, we came in, corrected the sanding errors, and applied a rich Jacobean stain to completely blend away those deep stains. 💬 Got a floor in need of saving? Nine years of daily dust extraction will eventually wear out a socket, but instead of retiring a workhorse, a quick swap of those worn brass clasps brings the trusty Festool MIDI right back to 100%. When you invest in quality gear and maintain it, it takes care of you on the jobsite—here’s to another nine years! 🛠️️✨ WoodworkingTools JobsiteLife ShopMaintenance

There’s something about Hickory that is so breathtaking! On this project we added Loba UV Protect to our top coat. This will slow down the effects of UV light on the polyurethane, allowing the finish to say light and clear without ambering or yellowing for a longer amount of time.
