Rusty Birds are back… and I couldn’t love them more.

My favorite little touch for spring—simple, charming, and just unexpected enough. Perch them on a windowsill, door frame, or porch rail for a bit of quiet whimsy.

I have them tucked all throughout my home—little surprises for the observant eye, adding beauty to even the smallest spaces.

Sometimes a sale comes with a tiny lump in your throat.

This 12-drawer pine beauty headed off to its new home yesterday, and I couldn’t be happier for it… but whew, she earned her place in my heart. When I found her, she was painted blue—with layers of red and lime green spray paint hiding underneath (yes… even inside the drawers 🫣).

It took me about 9 months to bring her back to life—slow, tedious, and worth every minute. Every time I walked past her in my booth, she made me smile.

So long, sweet project. Go make another home feel special—rescued, renewed, and very loved.

I was just thinking about my brother’s wedding that we held right in my backyard. My mom and I went full treasure hunt mode—collecting vintage blue plates (in all shapes and sizes), old silverware, mismatched glasses, and whatever table pretties we could find. Not a single thing matched…except that every piece had a little blue in it somewhere.

And somehow, it all came together in the most effortless, timeless, just plain pretty way.

With wedding season rolling in, consider this your gentle nudge: it doesn’t have to match to be beautiful. In fact, the charm is in the mix—the worn, the loved, the already-lived-a-life pieces.

Honestly, it’s just one more reason I’ll never stop being vintage obsessed.

The booth has been changing so quickly I haven’t had a chance to keep up with photos! So here’s a little peek at how it looks today. With so many wonderful customers taking home furniture and décor, it will probably look completely different by next week… which means you might want to come sooner rather than later. 😉

The luscious once-in-a-lifetime vintage dovecote went to live in its forever home! While I was secretly a bit sad to see it go, I was excited to say hello to a few new pieces and to fill the wall space with all things vintage and beautiful. ❤️💕

A new corner of the booth is quietly chirping. 🐦

Think vintage bird accents, natural textures, gentle tones… and one very confident sheep holding the room together. It’s sweet, layered, and full of the kind of charm that feels like it’s always been there.

Come take a peek before they all fly off.

There’s something about a book that has survived nearly 140 years.

This 1888 two-volume edition of Wuthering Heights and Agnes Grey was published under the Brontë sisters’ original pseudonyms — Ellis and Acton Bell — back when women often had to hide behind men’s names to be heard.

Maroon cloth bindings. Gilt detail. Handwritten inscriptions dated 1898 and 1899. Pages gently toned by time.

You can almost imagine it resting on a Victorian writing desk while someone read by lamplight, the wind rattling the windows, Heathcliff brooding dramatically in the background.

A beautifully preserved piece of literary history — ready for its next chapter.

DM for details.
