Did you guess the pattern we’ve been re-working behind the scenes? 🤭 Retro Ornaments 2.0 is coming next week! Meet the Cactus Flower version, all pieced up and ready for quilting 💃

It can feel a bit strange as a maker, always working a season or two ahead, but getting to enjoy your finished quilt when the season arrives is a satisfaction like no other. I’ve also had fun picking out some unexpected colors for these samples. I wanted something Christmasy but not TOO Christmasy, ya know? Very pleased with how this version is shaping up. Now, on to the next! 🥰

Templates really aren’t as scary as they seem. Pinky promise! And once you know how to use templates, you can make all kinds of quilt patterns that would be impossible without them.

I just started cutting for an oldie but a goodie! We’re re-working one of our beloved holiday patterns to work with our acrylic curved template set and while September seems just a bit early to start thinking Christmas, quilters know it’s probably just enough time 😅 I’m loving this non-traditional color palette 💚 💗 Any guesses on what it will become?
