Introducing Roux Mac Recommends — our mini series this month spotlighting the small businesses, makers, and creatives we love and support. First up: The Neighborhood Edit, featuring downtown businesses right in our backyard.

1. 🥐 A contemporary patisserie on Salisbury Street known for its craft pastries, macarons, and coffee.

2. 🪴 Raleigh’s home for houseplants. A woman-owned corner shop that’s equal parts plant haven and community hub!

3. 🍸 A mid-century basement cocktail lounge with a hi-fi sound system, vinyl DJs, and a cocktail omakase.

4. 🛍️ A downtown storefront featuring handmade goods from 60+ rotating local artists and makers.
