What’s inside matters. builds adaptive bolstering into the seat pans of their task chairs. What’s that mean for you? It means that one Steelcase chair fits a variety of different bodies comfortably. Add in adjustable arms, depths, heights - and you have a chair that will adapt to your body and the way it works.

One of the BEST things about my job is designing unique spaces for my unique clients! I love getting to know my homeowners and creating spaces that they can’t imagine by themselves.
Whether your aesthetic is traditional or modern, farmhouse chic or glam, my passion is figuring out what you love(even if you don’t know what that is) - and creating a space that you can’t imagine living without!

I’m so excited to reveal my today!
But first.....confession time. When new friends and acquaintances hear that I’m an Interior Designer, the first words out of their mouths are often ā€œYour house must be beautiful!ā€ Thanks to the and Linda (the mastermind behind it all), and the sponsor, I’m one step closer to having that amazing home that actually DOES look like a designer lives there! The emperor is finally getting some clothes y’all!
Since my website and blog is currently under construction, this is where I get to tell you about all of my amazing sources. I’m warning you - this is gonna be long, so bear with me. I promise, it’ll be worth it! Swipe left to follow along!
I often use fabrics as a jumping off point when I’m working on a design, and this room was no different. My absolute favorite color is green, and it looks so fresh when paired with a vibrant cobalt blue. When I saw this pattern by I knew that this was where MY living room design started. I absolutely ā¤ļø the bold colors and the large scale pattern.
And speaking of the windows, check out the new natural shades that I ordered through one of my trade partners. They’re cordless, so really safe for your kids and pets and they raise and lower with a push or a pull. Definitely one of my favorite new additions to this space.
I’ve had my eye on these swivel chairs from for quite a while. Our living room isn’t a huge space, so I needed a chair with a smaller footprint and these are simply perfection. They sit comfortably and the high(ish) back is just right in front of these tall windows. And let’s talk about that fabric - upholstered in , they’re cleanable using a mild bleach solution! A side table by finishes off that vignette.
If you’re still reading, I’m going to continue talking about this my finished room in the comments!

One Room Challenge - Week FOUR!!!

Friends...designing, ordering, and installing custom furniture, window treatments, and accessories in 6 short weeks is NO JOKE😳. I’ve had to call in favors from just about everyone...😬...but it looks like I *should* be finished by the end... even if I have to drive to the factory to pick up my chairs and ottomans (one of the benefits of living in North Carolina, y’all)!

So - here’s this week’s progress - I ordered some AH-MAY-ZING art from for a fresh take on the classic botanical gallery wall. Can’t wait until they come in - swipe left for a preview of two of the prints...

And...the ubiquitous 90’s chair rail has been removed, the walls have been prepped, and they’re all ready for some fabulous new wallpaper! I cannot wait - it’s really going to freshen up the space and add texture and interest. And I’m SO HAPPY to have that chair rail gone...I can’t tell you how many times I’ve hit my hip coming around a corner in this living room - plus it really makes furniture placement difficult when you have a 3 inch projection from@the middle of the wall. Good riddance!! @ Raleigh, North Carolina

One Room Challenge Week 3... Living Room Fabric Choices...TAKE 2. Ok. So, when I started this ORC, I really thought it would be...maybe not easy...but not too difficult either. That having been said, this week has kicked my butt...and I’m going to have to scramble to get everything in the room and photographed on time. Both of my original upholstery fabric choices needed to be reselected, and due to some unforeseen delays, I decided to nix the Roman shades I’d originally planned and went with quick-shipping custom natural shades instead. On the bright side - everything major has been ordered! Yay!! Now...fingers crossed that my ah-may-zing reps can pull some strings to get my chairs and ottomans here! Scroll through to take a look at what I’ve ordered so far - I still need to finalize art and lighting, but I’m so happy with how it’s all shaping up! @ Raleigh, North Carolina

So...I thought this living room was going to be neutral. My inspiration for this living room was neutral. I started out the week sourcing neutral. And then? And then, I remembered that I LOVE color. I live for color. I found a great print that I *liked* while I was at High Point Market. BUT. This afternoon, when I stopped in at my local showroom, I realized that I just wasn’t . So. I reselected this pagoda fabric for my window treatments. Everything else just fell into place. And I couldn’t be happier.
