I’m beyond excited to share that I recently received two Grace Awards in Artisan Curtains & Draperies and Artisan Specialty for my team’s custom drapery and Roman shade window treatments! ✨

The Grace Awards were founded to honor and celebrate interior designers and artisans who design and fabricate exceptional window treatments. This is the most prestigious competition of its kind in the design industry. Each entry is voted on by an esteemed panel of judges and awarded at the International Window Coverings Association every year.

I could not have pulled this off without my incredible team or the designers we partner with. I’m truly grateful to have you by my side! 🤍

If you know anything about me or my journey with JSH Designs, you know how much I love my workroom friends! These are the people that have championed me and supported my business from day 1. No question, problem, or work through is too much. They’ve consistently shown up in any way they can for over 20 years.

When I heard that was in Raleigh this year, I was thrilled! I knew that meant most of my workroom friends and even some designer and installer friends could come network, learn, and celebrate together, even if they had never attended before. And we did just that! Between getting a few members of the Triangle WCAA together at ’s Golden Hour Welcome Party, soaking in all of the incredible seminars, bringing my team to the vendor hall, and showcasing my team’s work at , this year’s IWCE was one to remember. 🤍✨

When the International Window Coverings Expo is in your backyard, you bring your A-game! Designing this stunning vignette with Debra Zinn Interiors called for all the luxurious touches and it was so fun bringing this vision to life to display at Artisan Atelier in support of the Green Chair Project. The drama, elegance, and decadence is truly in the details with rich velvet fabric, tassel tie-backs, fringe trim, and custom embroidery by Donna Scott Johnson. It was a labor of love getting this ready in time, but the result speaks for itself. A special thank you to all of the wonderful vendors who donated their products for such a great cause. 💫✨

At JSH Designs, we embrace challenges and love to find solutions — after all, we’re a custom drapery workroom! This pergola, part of a Chapel Hill clubhouse, was no exception. Right off the bat, we knew we needed performance fabric, strong enough to withstand the poolside elements. But the true obstacle came with the difference in beam height across the sides of the structure. With a little JSH Designs magic and a fantastic team, we were able to craft custom treatments that captured the designer’s vision while remaining functional. A truly stunning result! ✨🤍
