Sometimes a door needs to be a window.

This sunroom addition used to have sliding doors on two of the walls. Our clients needed to replace the doors but didn't use this one. It's very easy to replace a door with a window of the same width because of the header already being the correct size! Keep in mind the material of the exterior you are filling in though, as this can be more difficult if there is vinyl siding or brick that needs to be matched.

It's not an unlimited budget. It's not an oversized home. It's not the trending color scheme.....

Keep it simple in style and color palette & know what key elements to spend more of the budget on while the remaining items stay affordable.

I know this sounds easier said than done, but that's why we are here. If we can save you money, we will and we won't compromise the design you are seeking.

It's mostly paint! 🎨

I'm not even joking folks. Our clients purchased a house before moving to town and called us for help making it feel like their home.

We facilitated the construction process as well as the concept for what to keep and what to change.

It's usually not in the budget to rip everything out and start from scratch, but we thrive in this situation.

We are very sensitive to keeping with the style of the house while introducing some newer influences.

Black Sheep & Co. is a division of Monical Design. As designers, we were tired of seeing spaces decorated to look like generic showrooms with no personal meaning to any of the items picked. All the accessories and artwork looked like it was purchased from the same vendor, no unique mix of items, and no custom items. Wanting to be different in our styling and offer more personality to our clients, Black Sheep & Co. was created.
