🌐 beehivecandleworks.com This little business grew out of a love for hand-poured, natural candles, wax melts, and home fragrances that are thoughtfully made. Everything is crafted in small batches,

using premium, sustainable materials and ethically sourced, cruelty-free ingredients made right here in the USA. You’ll find all-natural 🍯beeswax candles, as well as all-natural 🌿 soy candles and wax melts. 🤍Cotton wicks only (no metals). And we stay as far away from plastics as we can! We also do our best to keep sourcing close to home in California🗺️ and reuse, repurpose, recycle, ♻️ and minimize waste along the way. Today, nearly 100% of what we use is grown and made in America — 🇺🇸by American farmers and companies🇺🇸 — and that matters to us. Our cozy 🌻🐝 Ramona Beehive Studio sits right on our property… which makes for a pretty great commute!

As a grandmother, one of the most important things I can do for my grandchildren is pray for them. ❤️🙏

As they begin a new school year 🎒📚✏️, I’m praying not only for them, but also for the classrooms where they will learn each day. Three of my five grandchildren are blessed to be homeschooled by their mom in their own little homeschool classroom 🏡📚, another one is in preschool, and another is beginning the big adventure of junior high! 🎒📓✏️ Wherever their classroom may be, my prayer for each of them is the same.

Heavenly Father, please watch over our grandchildren as they come and go. Bless their classrooms 🏫 and make them places of peace, kindness, safety, learning, and truth.

Give our grandchildren wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and discernment. Guard their hearts and minds. Give them courage to stand for what is right, even when it isn’t easy.

Bless those who teach them 🍎 with wisdom, patience, fairness, and good judgment. Protect every child and adult who enters their classrooms from harm and evil.

And most of all, help our grandchildren to be a ✨light✨ wherever they go, through their words, their choices, their kindness, and their actions.

8/20/2026 - Such a fun night at the Ramona Certified Farmers Market! 🐝

It was also my Buy One, Get One Free first-anniversary sale, and the sale was a huge hit! So many happy shoppers stopped by and loved all the amazing scents at Beehive Candleworks. The good news is that the sale will happen again next Thursday, August 27, so don’t miss it!

Our neighbors Megan Hubbard Carter had a free creative activity for the kiddos, painting rocks, and of course I had to join in too!

I also got to see two of my granddaughters, with one of them Leanna Fryman selling her own handmade jewelry. And to top it all off, my cousin was visiting from out of town, so naturally I helped him paint a rock too. 😂

Shopping, family, creativity, community, and lots of wonderful scents - it was just a really fun evening at the market!

Sometimes spiritual maturity looks a whole lot like keeping your mouth shut when you have the PERFECT response. 😂

That one rude shopper. That one family member who always has to be right. That one person you crossed paths with for only a moment who was clearly having a bad day… and apparently wanted you to have one too. 😅

You had the perfect response. It was accurate. It was deserved. And you could deliver it beautifully.

But then that little reminder comes…

Personal Reflection:
This one makes me laugh because it’s SO relatable. There are times when I know exactly what I could say, and maybe I’d even be justified in saying it. But not every thought needs to be spoken, not every comment needs a response, and not every battle needs my participation.

Sometimes choosing grace means letting someone else have the last word. And sometimes the wisest response is simply no response at all.

Prayer:
Lord, help me know when to speak, when to stay quiet, and when to simply let it go. Set a guard over my mouth and help me choose words that honor You and reflect Your grace. Amen. 🙏

Faith Friday 🐝

Some days, just buzzing is enough.

Not every day is going to be our most productive, our strongest, or our best. Sometimes simply putting one foot in front of the other, doing what we can, and trusting God with the rest is enough.

“I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.”
Philippians 4:13 (NIV)

Personal Reflection:

This has taken on a very real meaning for me lately. With my hand and wrist injury, even ordinary tasks have become difficult, and making candles, something I love so much, has become nearly impossible right now.

It’s frustrating. Especially when there are things I want to do, things I need to do, and my hand simply says, “Not today.”

But I’m learning that faith isn’t always about doing big things. Sometimes it’s trusting God enough to rest. Sometimes it’s accepting what I cannot do today without losing hope for tomorrow. And sometimes, just continuing to move forward in whatever small ways I can is enough.

I’m still here. I’m still trusting. I’m still buzzing. 🐝💛

And whatever YOU may be going through right now, whether it’s something others can see or a struggle you’re carrying quietly, please know that I’m praying for you, too. I pray that God surrounds you with His peace, guides you through whatever you are facing, and reminds you that you are never walking through it alone.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for carrying us through the difficult days. Give us patience in the waiting and peace when frustration creeps in. Help us to rest when we need to, trust Your timing, and remain thankful for all that we can do.

Please bring healing where healing is needed, comfort those who are hurting, encourage those who are weary, and guide each of us through whatever we may be facing. Help us keep our eyes on You, trust that You are with us, and remember that even the small steps count.

In Jesus’ name, amen. 🙏

✨ Faith Friday on a Tuesday!! ✨

As many of you know, Beehive Candleworks marks its 1st anniversary on August 11! 🐝

As we prepare to mark this special milestone, I’m sharing a verse that has been at the heart of Beehive Candleworks since day one.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 (NKJV)

💛 Personal Reflection

When I started Beehive Candleworks, my prayer was not simply to make candles. It was to create something that would quietly point people to Christ, the true Light of the world.

This first year has been filled with learning, unexpected blessings, new friendships, and countless reminders of God’s faithfulness. Through every market, every order, every conversation, and every opportunity, He has shown Himself faithful.

To each of you who has supported this little business through a purchase, a kind word, a prayer, or by sharing my work with others, thank you. Your encouragement has meant more than you know.

As we mark this first anniversary, my prayer remains the same as it was on day one. May everything I do reflect His light and bring glory to His name.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your faithfulness throughout this first year of Beehive Candleworks. Every opportunity, every lesson, every customer, every friendship, and every blessing has been a gift from Your hand.

As we begin another year, continue to guide each step. May this business always honor You, and may every candle serve as a simple reminder of Jesus, the true Light of the world.

Help me to let my light shine only as a reflection of Yours, so that others may see Your goodness and glorify You alone.

✨ Faith Friday ✨

“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.”

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:29, 31 (KJV)

💛 Personal Reflection

Lately, this Scripture has felt especially meaningful to me.

😩👉Physical pain has a way of wearing you down. It can change your plans, limit the things you normally do without a second thought, and sometimes simply leave you tired.

But I love that this passage does not tell us we have to manufacture strength we do not have. It reminds us where our strength comes from.

He gives power to the faint. He increases strength to those who have none.

There are seasons when healing comes quickly, and there are seasons when we find ourselves waiting. In the waiting, we can still trust that God is near. We can ask Him for healing while also asking Him for the strength, patience, and endurance we need for today.

Maybe you are dealing with physical pain too. Maybe your weariness is emotional, or perhaps you are simply carrying something that has left you feeling depleted. Whatever has made you weary, you do not have to rely solely on your own strength.

Wait upon the Lord. Look to Him. Trust Him.

He is our strength. ❤️

🙏 Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You that when we are weak and weary, You remain strong. Thank You that we do not have to face difficult seasons in our own strength.

I ask for Your healing hand upon those who are hurting today. Bring relief where there is pain, healing where there is injury or illness, and restoration where it is needed. For those who are still waiting for healing, renew their strength and give them patience and endurance for each day.

Help us to trust You in the waiting, to lean on You when our own strength is gone, and to remember that You are always near.

In Jesus’ precious name,

Amen.
