You've probably seen standard mechanical pencils before... but have you ever seen one like this? 👀
Tombow's "MONO" Graph Mechanical Pencils (which we carry in their 🌸Pastels🌸 range) feature an innovative and just-plain-fun mechanism:
Need more lead? ➡️ Give the pencil a 🫨shake🫨 !
Unlike most mechanical pencil designs (which require you to click a button to extend the lead), with these, shaking the pencil up and down dispenses more. How clever! But don't worry about accidentally dispensing too much — these pencils also come equipped with a "Lead-Lock" to prevent any mishaps. 🔒👍🏼
What's more, a pipe inside of the pencil's barrel protects the (refillable) lead from breaking, *and* you can rotate the other end of the pencil to gradually extend the (refillable) eraser!

One such example? Legion's series of "Yupo" Papers ~ a range of synthetic papers that are tree-free, waterproof, and smooooth as silk. 📃
Made of 100% non-porous polypropylene, Yupo Papers completely refresh the process of making visual art. They are acid-free, pH neutral, stain-resistant, and available in 3 distinct types:
🔵 Translucent: semi-opaque with a "frosted" look that can be slightly seen through, making it perfect for backlit projects or layering color on both sides of the sheet
🟠 Medium: provides a stunningly-white surface, and is wonderful for use with markers, pastels, watercolors, inks, and more
🟣 Heavy: incredibly sturdy, and ideal for application of heavy-bodied paints, mixed media, and pieces requiring the use of a heat gun

An old favorite amongst block printers of all skill levels, Speedball's range of "Speedy" Soft Blocks are a breeze to work with and a joy to carve. 🙌🏼
💙 Speedy-Cut Easy: Made from the most flexible material, but still highly durable, these blue blocks are great for starting out your block-carving journey, or if you struggle with hand-strength. Made for use with water-soluble inks!
🤍 Speedy-Cut: The recommended choice for classrooms, standard Speedy-Cut is another brilliant beginners choice, but a little firmer than the "Easy" version, giving students a taste of a slightly more rigid rubber. Also made for water-soluble inks!
🩷 Speedy-Carve: These pink blocks are a best-seller in the "Speedy" series — our customers *and* our staff use them often! Speedy-Carve still doesn't require a lot of pressure, making it very comfortable to use, but this particular blend of synthetic materials used to form these blocks makes them wonderful for carving delicate details.
