This is the 2nd year we have raised our own pork and it’s definitely a labor of love. You may have caught a glimpse (or whiff) of these guys at one of the markets this year, but this is proof that we actually do “homestead” things here. 🐖🐖

My husband has put so much care and love into growing these pigs for us and our family and I’m so thankful that we will have the best pork in our freezer this winter. And that our kids get to see and be part of the experience of raising their own food.

Let us know what questions you have and we will do our best to answer them! We are NOT experts (did you see the poor choice of footwear?! 🫣) but we are happy to share our experience and what we’ve learned so far.
