I was deeply saddened by the news last night that we have lost a fellow artist and friend. Mr. Gary Walters, has made the transition to a heaven more beautiful than anything he could have ever dreamt of painting, though by looking at his incredible art, I believe he had already tried. To hear him talk of his life and times throughout Mississippi and his endless admiration of his beautiful wife, Joan, I’m certain he saw heaven on earth on a daily basis. I feel so honored to have had the privilege of carrying his beautiful artwork, and sharing his vision of the delta landscapes with you all, over the past few years. His jovial nature, unique humor, tremendous talent, and caring heart will surely be missed by many, but certainly lives on through the love he poured into his vibrant artwork, and through all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. I’ll never drive past a cotton field again and not think about his beautiful watercolors and the soul that created them. My love and prayers go out to Joan and to all his family and friends.

Rest well my friend. 👨🏻‍🎨❤️

Services to be held on September 3rd at Providence Presbyterian Church in Clinton, MS. Visitation at 10 am and service at 11 am.

Hello friends, hope y’all are doing well ! Just a quick heads up to let you know that I’ll be closing early on Saturday Aug 1st at 2:30 to go celebrate my sister’s birthday with family. Happy to make an appointment to meet you at the store on Sunday or Monday if anyone needs to drop off or pick up an order, otherwise I’ll either see ya tomorrow or when I’m back open Tuesday 10-6. 🙂

Absolutely heartbroken right now as we just had to say goodbye to our sweet sweet Lola. She was such a kind and gentle soul, and will be terribly missed. Taking the day (3/26) off to mourn her. I’ll be back tomorrow regular hours but you might call or message me first to make sure I haven’t stepped out for some reason. Thank you all for your understanding and support. ❤️‍🩹

Well it’s sure been a minute since I last added to the album so I think it’s about time to do so! I cannot express enough just how much y’all’s support means to me! It’s no easy task for any small business to make it these days, yet here I am, going on 8 years in business for myself, and it’s all thanks to having such amazing customers like you! With all of my heart I thank you! I will always strive to provide you with the best of my abilities and expertise in the field of framing and art, with the good ole southern hospitality and kindness I was raised to give. I very much look forward to seeing what all amazing art, photos, and cherished items/memorabilia you all bring me to frame next!! One month in to 2026 and I already have lots to do so I best get back to it!

PS, please feel free to comment on, like, and share my posts. It truly does help the algorithms pick up and expose my work to the masses who may not have heard of Benjamin’s before. Small businesses need all the help we can get these days in an ever changing world due to automation, Ai, online competition, and big corporations. I want nothing more than to continue for another 8 years+ bringing you the level of quality, professionalism, knowledge, and courtesy that is often sorely lacking in the corporate big box type picture framing companies. Not to say you can’t find some quality framers at such places, but, speaking from personal experience having gotten my start in those type stores, they expect quantity over quality and generally don’t really pay enough for the best experienced framers to work there, or for their new hires to care all that much. Sure, they’re fine for some run of the mill type picture framing, but I highly encourage anyone wanting to frame something of great importance or value to take your business to an independent picture framer with reviews and photos of their work, to be certain you’re getting your money’s worth and that you and your items will be treated with the respect and care that is deserved. 🙂

Store hours: Tuesday through Saturday 10-6 and by appointment (if available) on Sundays and Mondays. I do recommend calling or texting in advance to make sure I’m in the store before driving here, as I sometimes have to step out for a bit to run an errand, get lunch, etc.

Ok my friends, I’ve got this year’s Christmas ornament designed and on the wood slices! Went with “All is Calm” as the theme seeing as how things were relatively chill around Raymond this year. Congrats to all of us for that! 😊 Please comment below with how many you want so I can get an idea of how many more I need to make tonight and over the weekend.

It’s that time of year again! Looking forward to seeing everyone during Christmas on the Square! While you’re out and about, be sure to stop in and check out some new work by local favorite, David Gulledge! He’ll be in the gallery the whole event to meet and talk with too. Lots of great gift ideas and amazing local art for all your loved ones.

Big thanks to Raymond Chamber of Commerce for putting together another amazing event!

PS, if you’re wanting to get something framed for Christmas, please bring it in ASAP so there’s enough time to get the materials. Lots of premade options for last minute options as well. 🙂
