Wanted to give these starter plants the best setup possible, so we focused on the soil health.🤎Underneath this EnGrow bed, there’s a built-in EcoChamber that keeps fresh air flowing through the root zone, which helps keep the soil’s microbiome active and thriving.

Loaded it up with Veggie Mix. It’s our favorite living soil, packed with compost and kelp meal, so it’s already full of the nutrients they need to get established. We also used biodegradable kelp pots from our friends at for our starters!

Now we just water and let the ecosystem do its thing. Can’t wait for these tomatoes! 🍅

Pro tip: always bury your tomato starters up to the first leaf, they’ll develop roots along the buried stem and grow in much stronger💪🍅
We spaced ours about 20 inches apart in the EnGrow bed, which is right in the sweet spot for raised bed tomatoes. No measuring needed, just find the middle of the bed and plant one on each side!🌱
