There’s something about traveling that sharpens your eye.
I recently spent a few days in Seattle, and as always, I found myself noticing the details that make a place feel memorable. The way historic brick buildings sit comfortably beside modern architecture. Cozy cafés layered with texture and warm lighting. Boutique hotels that make you want to linger just a little longer. Even the way the city embraces its connection to nature through rich materials, greenery, and views around every corner.
Travel has always been one of my favorite sources of design inspiration because it reminds me that the most meaningful spaces have personality. They tell a story. They reflect where they’ve been and who they’re created for.
I always come home with a camera roll full of inspiration—not to recreate what I’ve seen, but to spark new ideas that feel thoughtful, personal, and uniquely suited to my clients’ homes.
