A Berean’s Breakfast… MANNA
Back to back doctor appointment days. Today is just to draw blood for testing and tomorrow is a treadmill test. The blood test is the one I have been praying for more because the results will tell me where I stand in this battle against cancer. God knows right were I stand and He is standing with me.
There is a lot of sick people walking around right now and the weather is about to take a turn for the worst. Winter arrives late here and we may have some serious snow in the next day or two. The nation is getting slammed and we might join them.
I’m in no condition to shovel snow and pray it stays in our mountains where it is critical for our water supply. We usually hit our quota in March, so we might be right on time.
When the Bible, and Jesus Himself spoke of, “birth pangs,” it is becoming more clear to me that we are living in those days. A day now doesn’t go by without some crazy news or event one right after another. Trump doesn’t go a day without a statement that rocks everyone back in their chair. Now he has set a deadline for the release of the remaining hostages held in Gaza by Hamas. The last few released looked like holocaust survivors from 1948. Trump threatens that if the rest on those held aren’t out by Saturday, all hell will be released on the enemy! Who’s going to blink first?
Matthew 24:36-44 No One Knows the Day or Hour…
36“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 41Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. 42Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. 43But know this, that if the master of the house had known what [h]hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
Revelation 18:15-20 15The merchants of these things, who became rich by her, will stand at a distance for fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, 16and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls! 17For in one hour such great riches came to nothing.’ Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance 18and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like this great city?’
19“They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she is made desolate.’
20“Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!”
“… For in one hour she is made desolate.” Something could come in just one hour that destroys America. That starts the, “beginning of the end!” I was speaking with a friend and my wife as people keep telling me, “Did you see that Gold is almost $3000 an ounce?” Or others saying, “Bitcoin is at $100,000 a coin!”
Ezekiel 7:16-19 ‘Those who survive will escape and be on the mountains
Like doves of the valleys,
All of them mourning,
Each for his iniquity.
17Every hand will be feeble,
And every knee will be as weak as water.
18They will also be girded with sackcloth;
Horror will cover them;
Shame will be on every face,
Baldness on all their heads.
19‘They will throw their silver into the streets,
And their gold will be like refuse;
Their silver and their gold will not be able to deliver them
In the day of the wrath of the Lord;
They will not satisfy their souls,
Nor fill their stomachs,
Because it became their stumbling block of iniquity.
You can’t eat that gold, silver, Bitcoins or any other earthly treasure you chased after! If “left behind,” you will go through seven horrible years of wrath for rejecting Jesus’ offer of mercy and grace.
Tomorrow, even today might be that day, that hour, when that trumpet sounds and the redeemed will be Raptured! Not so called, “Christians,” or religious people, or “make-believers,” but true followers of Jesus Christ! In Him alone!
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Do you have a better plan? How’s that working out? There will be, “churches,” filled with people, even a pastor wondering just hours after the Rapture, what happened! The church at, “Laodecia” will be packed the day after!! Rev 3:14-22
