31 suede vests kit on order to be hand cut punched and packaged! We're keeping busy this week making suede vest kits for the Indian Guides, Y-Guides, Y-Princesses, Adventure Guides, and Adventure Princesses.
Each kit takes hands-on work and careful preparation. We're proud to help keep these traditions going by supplying the vest kits these groups need for their adventures!

Chatsworth Historical Society's Pioneer Day 2026 is officially in the books!
What a great day celebrating history, community, and leathercraft as Standing Bear's Trading Post, Leather by WC hosted the leatherwork booth.
Wayne demonstrated leather carving and tooling, Sandi had finished leather items available, and Melody, Ron, Jordan, and Anthony helped the attendees create their own leather bag tags at the make it and take it part of the booth.
Here’s a look at the photos from today’s event. We love sharing leathercraft with our community and giving people a chance to see, learn, and try their hand at working with leather.

Chatsworth Historical Society's 34th annual Pioneer Day is TODAY, Sunday, October 4, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Homestead Acre in Chatsworth Park South, 10385 Shadow Oak Drive. Activities include a leathercraft make it and take it with Standing Bear's Trading Post, Leather by WC, panning for gold, blacksmith demonstrations, old-fashioned games, beekeeping, butter churning, museum exhibits, and tours of the 1911 Homestead Cottage.
$5 for adults and $1 for children, with children under 5 admitted free. Parking is available at the north end of the Chatsworth Train Depot, with a free shuttle running every 15 minutes.
