Celebrating 15 Years

On view now is “The SCAD Museum of Art Celebrates 15 Years,” showcasing the drawings of SCAD alum, professor, and former dean of its school of building arts, architect Christian Sottile, whose firm, Sottile & Sottile, in 2011, amalgamated the museum’s 1853 structure, once the Central of Georgia Railway depot—a National Historic Landmark that is the country’s only surviving antebellum railroad complex—with 82,000 square feet of new galleries, classrooms, and art storage.

Since opening its doors in 2011, the museum has been celebrated for its inspired architecture, exhibitions, community outreach and education programs.

DorianBahr is seeking a Design & Operations Intern to join our studio and support the development of architecture, interior design, and construction projects from concept through ex*****on.

We are a design-led, detail-driven practice focused on delivering refined residential and commercial spaces through an integrated design-build approach. This internship offers direct exposure to live projects and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗼
• Assist with architectural and interior design development
• Support 2D drafting and 3D modeling (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp)
• Create presentation boards, mood boards, and client-facing materials
• Assist with project documentation and coordination
• Support marketing, portfolio, and content development
• Contribute to day-to-day studio operations across active projects

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗔𝗿𝗲
• Currently studying or recently graduated in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
• Strong design sensibility and attention to detail
• Familiar with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and/or Adobe Creative Suite
• Organized, proactive, and eager to learn
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
