Had the honor of watching this freshly transformed butterfly come out of its chrysalis this morning.

Was about to cull this plant and I’m glad I spotted it to set it safely on my flowers to begin its new life. 🦋

There’s this really special time during flower season- where the zinnias haven’t quite puttered out yet but the dahlias are stepping into their peak.

It’s my favorite. And it’s right now. ☺️

I cut it fresh 10 minutes ago before our Pop-Up U-Pick this morning and I’m a horrible saleswoman so I am sorry not sorry- it’s going on my kitchen counter. 😂 But I will gladly help you make your own! 🫶🏻

It’s been a minute since I’ve put a face to our account (besides our Mud Dog mascot, Daisy Mae. 😄)

Hi there! 👋 I’m Amber! I have two small children- both boys who are 8th generation and run feral on our family farm.

After moving back to my husbands family farm after living in town, my family and I had a seed planted in our hearts- and it’s grown into this beautiful thing of reconnecting with this land that we are blessed to help carry responsibility for.

I never knew how much sharing our journey and sharing our home would speak through flowers…but it has. Flowers just have this magic of connecting people. 💐

I want to personally invite you all to our U-Pick tomorrow on 8/29 from 7-10 am. $35 gets you (and your crew) a small bucket with snips to use to pick to your hearts content!

Come make art with nature and just enjoy slowing down through the beautiful rows.

This land we get to call home in the Driftless is truly remarkable.
