We just got new roofs installed on both buildings here at the farm. Now that I can see the colors in real life, I feel like I can move forward on my painted shutters idea. Wish me luck! I'm not usually much of a decorative painter aside from just painting walls and trim.

Loving my breakfast. I always love the colors of the dark berries in jam. Having my jam on fresh milled flour sourdough with seeds rolled in, fresh made yogurt cheese. (Labneh) and ongoing scrabble game. Near daily walks around the farm and a trip to a local park, crochet club and a sweater for Sonya, new roof for both buildings are scheduled to start tomorrow. And we have restaurant booths now... I'm not planning on opening a restaurant, but I did want seating for a crowd.

How have I never made kettle corn before? I've actually hardly ever made popcorn, but I'm thinking that's about to change.

So today's bakes were made with flour that I milled myself from some organic wheat that I picked up from a local PA farm. I was supposed to be making a loaf and then pretzels, but this flour texture didn't really stick together much, so I ended up going with a pizza kinda moment. I'm going to work on figuring out different settings on my mill and maybe sifting out some of the bran and seeing what happens in the future. But it tastes good.
